Born in Madrid, he began professional studies in music and piano in Navarra, at Conservatorio Profesional “Fernando Remacha”. He completed his music bachelor degree in performance in La Coruña (Galicia) under the tutelage of Giselle Grau at the Conservatorio de Música de La Coruña, where he finished with the highest qualifications. He received a Master in “Musicology, Music Education, Early Music and Pianoforte Performance” from the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña (ESMUC) and Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB), in Barcelona (Cataluña). During this time, He carried out a research project of the F. Liszt technique under the supervision of Rubén López Cano and Arthur Schoonderboerg, and also completing his purpose with an intensive investigation of the pianoforte technique in Baden-Wuerttemberg (Germany).
He then did a fellowship in London, United Kingdom, at Trinity College of Music, where he obtained two different postgraduate degrees Artist Diploma and ISP advanced in Piano Performance under the guidance of Elena Riu. He has received further during all his years many lessons and master classes with some of the best international prestigious and recognized teachers, pianists and musicologists including Alexander Kandelaki, José Ramón Méndez, Andrés Alén, Costantin Sandu, Laura Cattaneo, Katia Veekmans, Luca Chiantore, Rolf Bäcker, Paul Poletti, Pedro Memelssdorf, Juan Carlos Asensio, Emilio , Xavier Díaz, Josep Borrás, Douglas Finch, Deniz Arman Gelenbe, Martin Kasik, Eugene Asti, Philip Colman, Martino Tirimo, Jonh Irving and Karl Lutchmayer, among others.
Pablo has got vast experience as a soloist and accompanist, and also participated in several chamber music ensembles, orchestras and choirs; he has regularly performed in different concerts and events around Europe and China, with a considerable commitment in the city of London, including places such as Goodenough College, St Martin-in-the-fields, Instituto Cervantes, St Lawrence Jewry, Royal Naval College, National Maritime Museum, St Mary Battersea, St Alfege, Reformed United Church and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, among others. He has also performed in the Dublin 3rd International Piano Festival edition (Ireland) at the Huge lane Gallery as one of the final pianists for the musical event, and awarded with the “Charles Villiers Stanford” reward, as well as the Instituto Cervantes in the same city of Dublin.
He has been also recognized with other multiple prizes and distinctions in United Kingdom and Spain, including the “Premier Challenge Cup” in the North London Festival 2014, 1st prize in “Chopin-Liszt Competition”, and “Beethoven Competition”, in the North London Festival 2015, “Honour Prize” from the foundation Paideia Galicia, and “Fernando Remacha Prize” in Navarra, Spain. Pablo has also awarded with different scholarships and other acknowledgements from Goodenough College, an educational trust and postgraduate college of London, for his contribution as a pianist member and piano tutor to the Goodenough Community, and Shanghai Conservatory of Music (China) to carry out a Postgraduate performance researching course during the last season
His repertoire includes different styles and highly difficult works from the Early Music to the contemporary epoch for historical pianofortes and modern piano as well. He debuted his first CD in 2014 under a professional recording contract with Mans Studio in Spain. His album, sponsored and funded by the foundation Paideia Galicia and the institutions of Galicia “Consellería de Cultura” and “Educación O.U.” was released around Spain and Galicia, and features the music of Frederic Chopin, Franz Liszt and Peter Sculthorpe. He has recently performed in China at Shanghai New International Expo Centre for Shanghai TV (2016 and 2017 editions), Shanghai Baroque Festival (2016), Theatre Hall of the Huaibei and Xiamen, Shanghai Conservatory of Music Concert Hall, Instituto Cervantes of Shanghai, and the companies Steinway & Sons, Spring, Carod, Ernst Chladni and Cloud Piano, and has been called to carry out multiple Master-classes and lectures around China, as well as take part of the jury in many music competitions as a piano teacher adjudicator.
